CARES Team

The Community Assistance: Response, Engage, Support (CARES) program is a team of social workers serving people experiencing homelessness through linkages and referrals accessed through 911. Serving a limited geographic region of high need areas in Charlotte (Central, Metro, N. Tryon, and Westover Divisions of CMPD), the CARES team is available by calling 911 and requesting a CARES team (time and location limitations may apply) or by completing a referral for non-immediate follow up.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, rotating Saturdays 10am-6pm
